The termination of a bankruptcy proceeding.  Typically, in the context of Chapter 13, a case can be voluntarily dismissed by the debtor or involuntarily dismissed by the bankruptcy judge for failure to comply with the provisions of the Bankruptcy Code.  See also Conversion.
